Be sure to spend more time mastering the art of knowing when to work and knowing when to rest. Increase your efficiency levels by looking at your schedule and figuring out how much time you waste. Take a little time this week and give yourself an honest assessment. Agreed?

You are right. Working from home instead of in the office creates many distractions. It is a struggle to focus being quarantined. I am going to challenge myself to find a better way to focus on work and limit my interruptions. But to make sure I take breaks to help my concentration. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Her Random Thoughts, I also need to increase my level of concentration.
ReplyDeleteWe must get our priorities in order. Some are putting work and money above health and rest. God called us to test so let's do it!!!
ReplyDeleteI love working from home. It's peaceful and I feel a lot more free! I'm learning to balance my work with breaks. I'm also learning to be in the moment I'm in and thankful for it.
KeHam, being reminded to “be in the moment” is very helpful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by
Balance is so important. The lack of will spill over into your relationships, parenting, overall health etc.To much of anything can be costly. Not enough can be just as costly.
ReplyDeleteIt’s about finding that balance. I challenge you to take time out to document how much time you spend each day with whatever your 24 hours consist of for one week . This includes sleep, hygiene, work, exercise (Don’t lie) etc.Sounds silly I know. However, you’ll be surprised what you find out about self. Some will see that you are more productive than you
thought.Others will be very disappointed, but don’t stress.Your one decision away from accomplishing old goals you have set aside.20/20 for me is about clear sight and vision. Thanks for helping me stay focused bro.

Man, that is Just Profound. Documenting my 24hrs starting now...
DeleteTyping in my notes, “My wise friend prompted me to document 24hrs for one week. Here goes.”
Thanks for the push
Don't confuse your rest and relaxation as waste. Sometimes we are always 'doing' something and that something needs to be nothing... but as mentioned above everything does need to be balanced. Pencil in that rest, nap, relaxation, peace.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Thanks 2
DeleteI agree...being a good steward of my 24hrs has been my focus...it is an eye opener when you are mindful...to be Aware of how I am managing this gift of time...Maintaining good stewardship of
ReplyDeletemy time and Protecting this gift of time with boundaries...AMP!...a gift and challenge indeed
Much to ponder. Well said CB...
ReplyDeleteOuch... and Amen. I agree that working from home can be distracting. Easy to get swept up in what is happening at the house rather than focusing on the task in front of me. Good post great inspiration to tighten up focus.
ReplyDeleteNo time to waste..

ReplyDeleteBe sure to spend more time mastering the art of knowing when to work and knowing when to rest. (This is my first challenge because there doesn’t seem to be a definitive cut off to work or the rest mode when I finally get to it) Increase your efficiency levels by looking at your schedule and figuring out how much time you waste. ( this is my second challenge- distractions are everywhere and when it comes to protecting and securing provisions for my family and friends it is hard to classify them as such). But the good thing about being made aware of the challenges is that I now have a choice- address them or continue to chase my tail and not reaching my potential at work or at rest!
ReplyDeleteSo true Gwen. Thankful to have the choice.

Good post Mark. Reminds me 2 pay attention 2 what I'm paying attention 2 & 2 be more conscious abt the time that I spend on those tasks.
ReplyDeleteThank RoRed
ReplyDeleteRest is more important than we realize as we are always on the go. Rest is key to maintaining a healthy immune system and having a healthy immune system especially during these times is more important than any work that we may worried about missing out on!
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
